All wrapped up

This is a new Changito monkey stamp for Christmas, I couldn't resist using him in our card class this year!

This stamp is perfect for adding embellishments to. I put the snow marker on his hat and glossy glaze on the light bulbs to make them shine. (Hard to tell in the photo...)

Of coarse, he needed the perfect sentiment to go inside!

Leanne made this very pretty Christmas card with one of the newer embossing folders in this year. If you use the "core" paper you can sand it to show the color underneath.
Just add some red gems to sparkle it up! The verse on the front is one of my favorite Penny Black stamp sayings for Christmas.

Snowflakes

These are 2 more of the cards that Rose and I made at last Sunday's Christmas card class. I love the look of elegant snowflakes.

This one used a set of snowflake dies from My Favorite Things. Its hard to tell in the photo, but the colors are light blue and navy... (sort of looks like black).

We popped up the lighter ones and added some sparkly gems.

This one uses a stamp set with 3 jumbo snowflakes. Again, navy blue, light blue, and white. The top layer is popped up to look more dimensional.

One stamp, Two ways...

This is the reindeer card we are making at the card making class on November 20th. I just love this stamp because he is so whimsical looking without being too girly. The little red gem on his nose adds just the right touch.
Now for a totally different look, I changed it up by coloring him with a Copic marker (shade C3) for a silver card. I embossed the background with a Sizzix folder and added a clear gem to his nose this time.
Same stamp, two very different looks!

Gift card holders

I give quite a few gift cards around the holidays, but always feel like the presentation is a little lacking.
I found these cute mini envelopes that fit a gift card perfectly down inside! I just wrapped some twine around the envelope and added a festive brad.
If you already have cards made up, you can still use the envelopes and attach them on the inside to hold a gift card.
I also have the bags in the kraft (tan) color too.

Sizzix / Hero Arts Combo!

Sizzix and Hero Arts have come together to create one pack of really cool stamps with matching dies!
These are the 2 Christmas sets I have in stock right now.

Once you stamp your image, use the coordinating die to perfectly cut it out.
I made the tag below and even used the masking technique so the reindeer's sweater would be in red. Way to easy to whip up some holiday tags and cards.

Pastel Grass

I really love this background stamp and have wanted to make something with it for a long time. I pulled out my Versamark pad which was also collecting dust! The Versamark pad leaves a watermark effect if you arent using it to heat emboss with. In this case it makes it look like I stamped the grass in all 3 colors.
This stamp and the warmest wishes stamp make a nice Thanksgiving card in non-traditional colors.

Elfin' {Christmas} Magic

Learn how to make this 4x4 mini book for Christmas.
This small accordion style book is loaded with 9 pages to put photos and journaling for the holidays.

All the pages fold up to fit inside...

...but stretch open to be viewed.

There are lots of hidden tags, brads, ribbons, and sparkly gems added to this project! We will also be doing a little stamping and some die cutting for this too.
This would make a great present for a gift exchange or a stocking stuffer.

Supplies Needed: adhesive, and Scor Tape (or the red Terrifically Tacky tape). If you dont have Scor Tape, you need to try it... guarantee you will love it!

Cost: $12.00 (I can only hold your spot if it is pre-paid within a couple days of signing up.)

Class Dates:
Tuesday, November 29th @ 1 pm. (full)
Saturday, December 3rd @ 11 am. (full)
