August Card Class

In this workshop we will be stamping 5 all occasion cards
with envelopes.

This card is using another "turn about" style stamp.
These are so fun for switching up inks to get different looks!

We will be trying out stamps from some new stamp companies to the shop.

Inside reads "Its your Birthday".

This one above we will try out adding a second color to the background stamp.
(2 colors of blues)

It has a elegant feel for a wedding or a birthday.

Fall Wedding

I love fall and winter weddings because you can use non traditional shapes and colors.   My good friend is getting married today and her colors are purple and gold (mixed with other fall shades).

I used the Memory Box best wishes die on kraft cardstock and backed the wishes part with gold shiny paper.

I sponged ink around the leaves and accented it with the gold cord for more shimmer.

Here you can see the layers better, the best wishes is popped up with the purple leaf.

Doodle Pops & Doodle Twine

I needed a couple of wedding cards for this weekend and found that these Doodle Pops from Doodlebug work great! Doodlebug has come out with some embellishments for card makers.
I just added some sparkly gems and an embossed border from the Sizzix wedding folder set.

These are just a few of their dimensional embellishments, so cute and easy!

Doodle Twine has been arriving too, there are single colors and assorted sets.

The rest of the cards...

Yahoo! My computer is back after being repaired, it was really hard to navigate the internet from my phone all this time.
Here are the rest of the photos for the card class this month.
The card above we are doing some masking on her dress to match the background paper.
The red and blue stickles add just a touch of shimmer for this card.

This wedding card uses a punch that has all the flowers and leaves for this card, along with some Cuttlebug folders for the background.

I love this quirky card... The inside reads "life is too short to match socks!"

Embossed cards

I made these cards with a new released Sizzix embossing set. Its a wedding set with an A2 folder and 3 border strips. I used it to emboss the card and the envelope to match. Wedding season will be here soon!

I used the black Kaiser Craft pearls, I love these because they have varying sizes in one package.

This birthday card is similar but with the pink pearls and ribbon. I like cards that are simple and elegant, and of coarse easy to make!

Simple Wedding

Any time you need a quick card Cuttlebug cards are perfect! This folder is actually from Sizzix, but they make them so they are interchangeable between most die-cut machines.
I added the black pearls and satin ribbon for some dimension.

simple wedding

I needed a wedding card for this weekend, so I used my new favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder.
I made 2 different versions of the same card... not sure which one I liked better.

The front says "Mr. & Mrs." and is popped up for a little dimension. The organdy ribbon adds an elegant feel for a wedding card.

I have a few of these Cuttlebug folders in stock, and will have a couple more in on Wednesday. I havent seen any of the newer Cuttlebug stuff at Michael's or AC Moore yet. I also have some Halloween embossing folders coming soon too!
