Doodle Pops & Doodle Twine

I needed a couple of wedding cards for this weekend and found that these Doodle Pops from Doodlebug work great! Doodlebug has come out with some embellishments for card makers.
I just added some sparkly gems and an embossed border from the Sizzix wedding folder set.

These are just a few of their dimensional embellishments, so cute and easy!

Doodle Twine has been arriving too, there are single colors and assorted sets.

Halloween??

Even though I love Halloween, I hate to be thinking about it already!
Halloween paper and punches that I preordered are starting to trickle in, but more will be here in September. This cool spider web punch is brand new this year and I teamed it up with a 1.99 clear stamp set from Inkadinkado... way too easy!
The spooky background paper is brand new in too.
On the flip side, here is a sweet baby card using brand new stamps from Paper Smooches. I just added some pink pearls and new paper from Simple Stories.

I love this new MFT set, she is so summer-y and cute!

There was very little coloring that way, just mostly her skin (E00) and a little pink (R85).

Catching up...

I've been a little behind updating my blog, mostly because last week I was in Chicago for the Craft & Hobby trade show (aka CHA). If you would like to see a bunch of pictures of all the great things I saw just check out my FaceBook page to see them. Click the link below...
The booths there were so fabulous! All the paper crafting companies did a wonderful job.
This card above is made with one of the new My Favorite Things stamp sets. The kite is in the set but I used some twine instead. The clouds are also a die from MFT too. The inside reads "Happy thoughts are coming your way".
Her dress is colored with Copics R83 and R85.
On this card I used another brand new stamp set from Cats Pajamas. The cloud border is also one of their new dies too.
All of the papers were from a 6x6 My Minds Eye paper pad... everything coordinates that way!
I used Copics T0, T3, R46, and YR07.

Wildflowers

I really love any stamps from Whippersnapper, this one is especially one of my favorites. I like stamps that can be used for almost any occasion.
The background is a Cuttlebug folder and I used some of the clear Glossy Glaze to make the jar look like it had real water in it.
Here is a better view of what the Glossy Glaze looks like... sorta.
I added a few Dew Drops to the side for an accent too.
This inside verse is also another Whippersnapper favorite.
You could even add a little Flower Soft to this stamp too if you wanted a realistic look.

The rest of the cards...

Yahoo! My computer is back after being repaired, it was really hard to navigate the internet from my phone all this time.
Here are the rest of the photos for the card class this month.
The card above we are doing some masking on her dress to match the background paper.
The red and blue stickles add just a touch of shimmer for this card.

This wedding card uses a punch that has all the flowers and leaves for this card, along with some Cuttlebug folders for the background.

I love this quirky card... The inside reads "life is too short to match socks!"

Non-traditional graduation

This little sporty girl stamp set from My Favorite Things is so cute but if you need a graduation card she can work great for that too.

I carry most of the local high school and college papers so all you have to do is add in your school's colors!

Besides the sayings, the stamp set comes with a volleyball, basketball, and a soccer ball.

Pinwheels & Rosette Flowers

Super cute stamps have come in from The Cats Pajamas, also some really great cutting dies too.
These stamps are perfect for spring!
The bunny was colored with Copics E31 and E33, two browns that blend nicely together.

This is a more up close picture of what the pinwheels die looks like. It also has a smaller pinwheel and 4 center shapes on it too. This pinwheel is a great example of one of the joys of double sided paper!

This one uses another one of my favorite stamp sets and the Rosette Flower die. The flower die also has a smaller sized flower, a center, and a banner... So easy to use. If you check out the previous post on my blog you can see the video of how to use both of these great dies.

To add a little bling on this card I used pink gems. I also used micro beads and glossy glaze on the cake to make the frosting stand out, its just hard to see it on the photo.

I colored the bunny on this one with Copics T3 & T0 (T zero).

I have been really trying to make the insides of my cards just as pretty as the outside. I even added some gems to the inside too.
