New Taylored Expressions Dies!

Brand new cutting dies from Taylored Expressions!  I pulled some samples from their website so you can see how awesome they are on cards.

August Card Class

In this class we will be stamping 5 all occasion cards with envelopes.

There are lots of new stamps & dies on the shelves, so we will be using brand new items.

This doggie card uses new stamps that have the coordinating dies... no paper cutting involved!

This is a brand new company from Hawaii called Dandelion Designs.

The hand is a separate stamp so when popped up it looks like he is holding the sign. 

 The "Thanks" card is brown and pink, looks a bit darker in the photo.

Brand new paper and dies!

The owl card is called a "flip card", it also has stamps with the matching dies.

The card flips open to show a message on the back side.

Its time again for our annual crafty parking lot sale.

Sunday, September 15th 

from 9 am until 1 pm.

Get rid of all your new and used stamping, scrapbooking, and craft items you are not using anymore.

This year I am trying something different...

Every year its either too hot or raining so I have decided to rent a large tent.

Here is all the details if you are interested in signing up to sell:

1.  Cost is $20 PER seller if you would like to be under the tent.

2. Bring your own table(s), limited to 8 foot space per seller.

3. If you want to chance it with the weather, or have your own tent, 

the cost is $10 per seller (no limit on space).

4. Bring your own grocery store blue bags to bag up your customer sales.

5. Bring your own change to cash out your customers.

6. I need to have at least 14 sellers to pay for the tent rental or sale may be cancelled.

7. All sellers fees are prepaid to hold a spot, first come/first serve basis.
8. Since I have to prepay for the tent, I can not give refunds on sellers fee.

Teacher Thank You

I made this one for Tyler's teacher as a thank you for being such a great teacher this year.  I have a couple different MFT stamps that are school related that would be cute for teacher gift cards... or even a graduation card.
I paper pieced the skirt and chalkboard on this one.  Slightly tedious, but the effect was well worth it.

Bright & Cheerful Card Class

I have been using so much brown and kraft colored paper lately that I thought I would make this class a bright & cheerful theme.

The card above uses glossy accents to give it some shine. (Not very noticable in the photo...)

We will be also using liquid pearls in this class, something new that you might not have tried before.

Supplies to bring:

adhesive runner, pop dots, glue pen or mono adhesive liquid glue.

Cards...

Just some cards that I made with new Memory Box dies and new My Favorite Things dies.

Graduation made easy!

Its that time of year when graduation parties are popping up!

 I made this one for my cousin who is graduating from Mercyhurst College for nursing. 

I embossed the star frame folder on Core paper so I could sand it and make the stars stand out better.

The grad cap is a Doodlebug embellishment that is for card making... so easy.

The school papers I carry in the store make it so easy to make a unique card.

The numbers were cut from the MFT set below.  Its great for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc.   It has the number dies with the coordinating stamps.  I also have just the number dies with out the stamps too.

Guys & Birds card class

In this class we will be making 5 all occasion cards with envelopes.

It just so happened that they have a "Guys & Birds" theme.



The card above is called a "waterfall" card, its interactive and moves when you pull the flap with the ribbon.  This is a very cool technique if you like cards with a little something extra!



 We will be making a card that would be perfect for Father's Day because it has a spot on the front for a gift card.

This card could work for a man's birthday too.



There will be some brand new dies used in this class.  I love the tree die below, perfect for any occasion.

Most ribbon is regularly .75 cents per yard.

Lawn Fawn has some brand new clear stamps with the matching metal dies to coordinate.

6x6 Scrapbook Class

 

In this class we will be putting together a 20 page 6x6 scrapbook album.

The album has a girlie fairy theme.

We will be using the brand new LYB line called Fern Girl.  There will be precut paper and all the stickers and chipboard pieces all ready to be assembeled.

If you cannot make it to a scheduled class, date but would like a take home kit I will put one together for you.  Just bring your camera to take a few photos.
