3 - D Card Class

In this workshop we will be making (4) 3-D cards with envelopes.

The Happy Birthday is a step up card made from all dies that come in one complete set.
This one could easily be changed for boy or girl versions.

The hammock card is a stair step card.
This one makes me think that summer is just around the corner!

The star card is a shaker.

The chicken soup card is another shaker but done differently than the star card.

Gotta love some alphabet noodles for shaker fillers!

Hearts aren't just for Valentine's...

Heart stamps and dies work for Valentine's Day but can also be for other occasions too.

They can be for wedding and anniversary cards for example.

The center of the big one cuts out a perfect heart that I used to stamp on in the inside.

Remember this card from the last class??

Changed it up a bit!
Thanks Maureen for the idea... I added a mustache brad and a pop dot.

January Card Class 2015

I hope everyone had a great holiday!
I have been super busy with work and out of town family staying with me, but its time to get back into the swing of things.

In this next card class we will be stamping 5 all occasion cards with envelopes.

Thinking warm weather with this one!
I love these dies, they have stitching around the clouds and sun.
The Doodlebug enamel dots work nice on the tag too.

Cant have a card class in January without doing a Valentine.

If you have the Quick Stick, you will want to bring it.  It works perfect for this card.
I sell them at the shop if you need one.

This card has some sparkle...
There is glitter paper behind the butterflies.

Its hard to tell in the photo,
but we are using the Wink of Stella pen to sparkle up the butterflies a bit.

My new favorite embellishments are the paper straws.

I have these owls perching on one for this card.

We will even be stamping the back of the card on this one!

Christmas Card Class 2014

I feel a little behind schedule this year with my holiday cards but the move really set me back a bit.

Gold is the "in" color this year, we will be using some highlights of fold foil and gold glitter paper.

Hard to see in the photo but the trees are glittered like fallen snow.

The Merry cut-out die and the Santa set are brand new stamps and dies this year.  Santa's hat and beard are flocked to look fuzzy.

Fall Wedding

I love fall and winter weddings because you can use non traditional shapes and colors.   My good friend is getting married today and her colors are purple and gold (mixed with other fall shades).

I used the Memory Box best wishes die on kraft cardstock and backed the wishes part with gold shiny paper.

I sponged ink around the leaves and accented it with the gold cord for more shimmer.

Here you can see the layers better, the best wishes is popped up with the purple leaf.
