January Card Class (2017)

The cards this month are slightly inspired by Valentine's Day,
but not so lovey-dovey that they couldn't be used for
a different occasion.

I love this Taylored Expressions die and hearts can be used for several occasions.
This die is an exclusive one that only small stores can order.
I love to support companies that look out for the little guys!

This little skunk is a spinner card, he spins and slides along the track.

Christmas might be ending but winter is upon us!
The red cardinal pops on the black & white.
This scenery card is stamped on a shimmery wave paper,
pretty impossible to see in the photo though.

The fish tank is actually a gel card.
The squishy gel makes the water look realistic!

Supplies to bring:
Adhesive runner, foam pop dots, scor tape, green Tombow glue, scissors, 2 pennies,
and SMALL FLAT glue dots.
If you have these Copic colors please bring them:
T1, T6, R81, R85, B02, and YR04
It cuts down on wait time.

Cost:
Cost for the 5 cards and envelopes is $17.00
If you pre-pay to hold your spot the class is only $15.00

Class Dates:
Wednesday, Jan. 4th @ 5:30 pm. (1 spot left)
Thursday, Jan. 5th @ 1 pm. ( 1 spot left)

March Card Class (2016)

In this workshop we will be thinking a little spring!
We will be stamping 5 cards with envelopes.

We will be coloring this rainbow a little differently using watercolor inks.
Of coarse Easter is on its way so we need at least one Easter card in the mix.

I love these sweet gnomes!
We will be doing some Copic coloring and shading on this one.

Now this is a different type of spinner card than we have done in the past.
The video below shows how it spins.

This card is honestly dark and light purple flowers, for some reason they look
almost black in the photo I took.
These stamps are a color layering stamp set...
It takes a few stamps to make the bouquet look multi-colored.

Don't need a "Get Well" type of card, that's ok, this one works for almost any occasion.

Supplies Needed:
adhesive runner, Scor-tape, pop dots, 1 flat glue dot, scissors, glue pen.
(I sell all of these items if you don't have something.)
PLEASE bring Copic markers T1, T3, and R81 if you have them.
It will significantly cut down on wait time for the coloring.

Cost:
The class is $17.00, if you pre pay to hold your spot the cost is $15.00
If you cant make the class and would like a kit just let me know before the classes start.
Cost is $17 for a kit.

August Card Class

This month's card class will be 5 cards with envelopes.
We will be using several techniques...
some old, some new
depending how long you have been coming to my classes.

We will be using distress inks and water coloring the butterflies.
There is also a shimmer spray on them but its hard to see in the photo.

We will also be water coloring the background for the sailboat too.

Shaker cards are always being requested so we have a summer themed
sand shaker.

The pinwheel spins on this one,
its been a long time since we have done a spinner style card.

Another technique we haven't done in class for a while is the
brayer/multi colored ink pad.
The colors are a bit off in the photo but its a pink and purple ombre effect.

Supplies needed:
adhesive runner, pop dots, scor tape, glue pen, Tombow liquid glue with the green cap, small thin glue dots, 2 pennies, Copic R46,

Cost:
Class fee is $17.00, if you pre-pay to hold your spot the fee is only $15.00

Wednesday, August 12th @ 5:30 pm. (2 spots left)
Thursday, August 13th @ 1 pm. (full)
Saturday, August 15th @ noon. (full)
Wednesday, August 19th @ 1 pm. (full)
