Non-Christmas

Now that the Holidays are almost here...

I am happy to post my first non-Christmas card in a long time!
I love pink & brown together so I used them with the Cuttlebug "Leafy Branch" folder.

This butterfly punch is new too, I love the detail in it.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Saturday, January 30th and Saturday, February 20th. Status update: Both Jan. & Feb 20th crops are full! I have opened another February date for 2/27/10, contact me if you would like to sign up.

We will be cropping all day from 10 am until 8 pm in the back party rooms of Hoss's Steakhouse.

The crops will be kept smaller in size to give everyone more table space to work.

Lunch is all you can eat soup, salad, and dessert bar.
Dinner is a choice of sirloin tips or chicken dinner. Soup, salad, and dessert bar.
Drinks of your choice all day!

There will be door prizes, a chinese auction, and a coupon to use at the store that day!
Gather yor friends and your crafting supplies and enjoy a day away!!

Cost is $30 or $55 for both crop dates.
You do not have to pay for both crops at the same time. Reservation payments are due 3 days prior to crop date. No refunds can be given 2 days prior to date of party.

Out with the old...

Select Christmas stamps are on sale for 20% off, mostly wood stamps but some clear ones too. More new stamps are always arriving so its time to make room for them.

Lots of good ones like Changito and Fluffles to name a few! They wont last long!!
Be sure to sign up as a fan on FaceBook, I post samples and sales there too.

New stamps...

New clear stamps have been coming in from "Our Craft Lounge". Its hard to find a stamp set for inside Christmas cards...I like this one a lot!

Crunch time...

Its getting close to crunch time if you are still thinking of making your own Christmas cards this year. Here are a couple super easy ones that wouldn't take very much time to put together.

I used the new Cuttlebug winter borders set and applied some Stickles to make it look a little snowy.

On this one I embossed the snowflake with the Ice Crystals folder and added a red rhinestone gem to the center.

Dont forget about envelopes! I have packs of 100 for $9.99.

"Mark your Calendars" Class

In this class we will be making a 12 month desktop calendar! This calendar is approx. 8x11 and fits perfectly on a counter top or desk.
This class would be perfect for making a gift for the "hard to buy for" family member or friend. You can fill it with pictures or let them put in their own. After the year is over, you can remove the scrapbook pages from the calendar and place them in a 6x6 album!

This calendar is made by Karen Foster and comes as a kit with paper and stickers for the dates and holidays. I have designed the pages and added lots of embellishments to spruce it up a bit.
My calendar starts in January, but if you needed it for a gift later in the year it can start on any month and continue through the year.
We will be using lots of punches, brads, and ribbon. We will also be using the Cuttlebug and also Nestabilities. If you havent had a chance to cut & emboss with the Spellbinders Nestabilities, now is your chane to learn how to use them.

Class Dates:

Wednesday, Dec. 9th @ 6 pm. (FULL)

Thursday, Dec. 10th @ 6 pm (FULL)

Sunday, Dec. 13th @ 1 pm. (FULL)

Wednesday, Dec. 16th @ 6 pm (FULL)

Thursday, Dec. 17th @ 6 pm.

Saturday, Dec. 19th @ 11 am. (FULL)

Cost is $20, and a prepayment will hold your spot.

Please bring adhesive to the class.
