September card class (2016)

In September we will continue with a few more pop up cards.
The Autumn card is a 5x5 accordion style card.
We will be using a brand new Lawn Fawn set of stamps and dies.

The card is 5x5 in size but opens up accordion style.
We will also be doing a bit of Copic coloring too.

Last month we did a pop up beach card,
this time we will be a little country.

This card opens up for a pop up fence and lays flat
to be displayed.

We used the flower layering stencil a few classes ago and
it was a huge hit.
We will be making a baby boy and girl card the same way.
These stencils are so fun!

Bundle of Joy

I love to make baby cards, I just dont need them very often at this point in my life.
My daughter is going to a baby shower for her best friend who is having a baby boy, so I was happy to make a card for her.

I used the MFT onesie die and the MFT sentiment strip dies for the front.  Couldn't resist using the doodlebug monkey paper and stickers since she knows the baby is a boy!

New Scrapbook Pages

I rarely get the time to scrapbook unless I am at the crops, but I really needed to update some of the pages I had hanging on the walls around here.

I love this BoBunny line for little boys, super cute colors!

I've been trying to better organize my scrapbooks at home, so I wanted to take home some of the pages on the store's walls that had the kids pictures in them.

I re-scrapped this baby page because the other one had some baby pics of Tyler that I wanted to put in his book.

Cant get enough of Doodlebug paper... so sweet!

August Card Class

A new month... a new card class.
My Favorite Things has new dies and new stamps every month.  The mouse card above uses both, I especially love the Sentiment Strips dies for words.  We will also be using the Copic markers and adding a little Flower Soft in the basket.

The Riley card uses Core paper which we will sand to give it a worn look.

The "gender neutral" baby card uses a new onesie die with the matching stamp set. There is even a mini clothes pin for an added touch.

Its wedding season, this one would make a great card for a wedding or anniversary.

More super cute My Favorite Things stamps and dies.

Class supplies needed:
adhesive runner, pop dots, glue pen, paper snip scissors (such as Cutterbees).

Class fee:
Cost for the class is $17.00, if you pre-pay before your class date it will hold your spot and the cost is $15.00.

Oh Baby!

I made these cards using dies and stamps from My Favorite Things.
They have a set of alphabet dies that I spelled out "Oh baby" and "cheers" with.

The tags were made with the notched tag set.  Its a set of stamps with matching dies to decorate the tags with.  That is where the onesie and clover came from.

I just added a brad and a mini clothes pin for a little decoration!

Halloween??

Even though I love Halloween, I hate to be thinking about it already!
Halloween paper and punches that I preordered are starting to trickle in, but more will be here in September. This cool spider web punch is brand new this year and I teamed it up with a 1.99 clear stamp set from Inkadinkado... way too easy!
The spooky background paper is brand new in too.
On the flip side, here is a sweet baby card using brand new stamps from Paper Smooches. I just added some pink pearls and new paper from Simple Stories.

Baby Elephants

These elephant punches sold out very quick by just having the card samples in the store, but they are back in stock now!

I made these sweet baby cards with a couple Cuttlebug folders, the elephant punch, and some of the SRM clear stickers... super easy and quick!

Yesterday was Halloween, but I couldnt help myself from making a baby card. I absolutely love this Cuttlebug folder called "It's a Girl". There is something about babies and little pea pods that I just love!
