Nestabilities organization!!

In my constant search for organizational tools, I stumbled across something that is working great for storing my Nestabilities.

This is a magnetic folder that is meant for holding Quickutz dies but works perfect for Nestabilities! I can hold about 6 sets in this thin folder.

The folder is thinner than a spiral notebook so storage is no problem at all!

I have been getting them in stock but they always sell out fast., If you would like me to order one in for you just let me know. They only cost $12.99.

Halloween 6x6 class

In this class you will be putting together a 17 page 6x6 Halloween scrapbook album.

Everything is pre-cut and ready to assemble. There are a lot of embellishments like brads, spiral clips, ribbon, die cut stickers, and more.

This particular class is geared for pictures of your kids who trick or treat and do pumpkin carving. It may be a bit too juvenile for pictures of teens and adult having Halloween fun.

Cant make any of the class dates? If supplies last, just ask for a "to-go" kit. All supplies are arranged in order and can easily be assembled at a crop or at home. Just bring a digital camera to take pictures of the sample book.

Class dates:
Wednesday, Sept. 17th @ 1 pm and 6 pm.
Thursday, Sept. 25th @ 6 pm.
Saturday, Sept. 27th @ 11 am.

The book will be on display at the store if you would like to see it in person.

Supplies needed: adhesive and pop dots
Cost: $20

The big 4-0

I worked on a card today for my good frend Bob Kellogg who is turning the big 4 - 0 this weekend. There is even a surprise birthday party happening. Even though he is a guy, I think he still appreciates a hand made card.

This card is 6x6 sized and I even used some of my stashed and hoarded chipboard. The word big is made from foam "Thickers", another hoared embellishment! I popped up the 40 for some dimension. You can see it a little closer here....

I used the tool kit from Basic Grey to sand the paper from the edges of the chipboard. I added a couple of star brads for a little bling!

Halloween Treats!

With the rain and chilly air this morning it actually felt like a "fall-ish" kind of day. I am not ready for summer to end, but I do love the fall months too.
Today I felt like working on some cool Halloween treats.
This one is a clear carmel apple pail...
Inside the pail is a single seving packet of Marzetti carmel apple dip and an apple. Around the sides I filled it with carmel creams, one of my very FAVORITE candies.

This is the back side.

Here is a close up. I put raffia on the bottom and used Bo Bunny rub-ons to decorate the sides of the pail. I have the rub-ons at the shop now and a couple of the pails. I will have more clear pails in this week.

This one I made with the hinged tin and Reese Cups.

I cut out some small scallops with the Nestabilities (small scallop set) and a 1 1/4" circle punch. The stamp set I used is from Stampin' Up called "Batty for You". I just attached the scallops to the tops of the mini Reese Cups.
Add a strip of paper to wrap around the tin and attach the flowers. These make nice gifts for anyone who loves Halloween.
Enjoy!
