Going, going, gone...

I have had these 2 cute little monkey stamps on the shelves for toooo long!

I have 2 each of these left... and when they are gone, they are gone!

I put a little Glossy Accents on the watermelon to make it look juicy.

If monkeys aren't your thing, I have a few pups and elephants too.

Summer Inspired Shaker Card Class

In this workshop we will be stamping 4 cards with envelopes.

The cards all have a summertime theme, 

two of the cards are shaker style cards.

We will be using brand new stamps that I have never had in the shop before.

The shaker card below is made to look like sand in the shaker bubble.

We will be using a brayer to make our own background paper.

The whale card is also a shaker using micro beads and sequins.

Supplies Needed:

adhesive runner, pop dots, small paper snipping scissors, scor tape (not mandatory, but recommended), Tombow liquid glue with the green cap.

If you wish to bring your Copic Markers so you dont have to wait the colors are:

T0, T3, B000, B12, E00, E21, E31, E33, G14, RV06, YR01, YG63, YG03, YR07

Kit of the Week - Bee Happy

This adorable 2 page 12x12 layout will be available for pre order.

I will have everything pre cut and packaged up so all you need to do is glue it together.

If you want to work on the pages at my shop, I will have time available on Saturday, June14th from 10-3.

Stop anytime during those hours to put your pages together, but please RSVP so I have a kit cut for you.

If you cant make it on the 14th, I can bag them up as take home kits.

These little bees are so cute, they each have about 7 layers to them.

The adhesives I recommend using are:

tape runner, glue pen or Tombow mono glue (green cap), scor tape, scissors.

Cost is $8.99

6x6 Paper Bag Scrapbook Class

In this class we will be making a 6x6 paper bag scrapbook.

You can choose either the boy or girl theme.

The books will be decorated with the new Doodlebug birthday lines.

These books are made from real paper bags that have been pressed, sewn, and 3 hole punched.

They are treated to be acid free and bound with metal book rings.

There are lots of embellishments used like brads, washi tape, punches, staples, ribbons, spiral clips, etc.

The book has lots of photo tags that are interactive and can be removed for viewing.

We will be making 12 pages plus the 3 hidden pages that tuck into the sides of the album.

Supplies:

You will need an adhesive runner, pop dots, scissors, and SCOR TAPE.

Its an absolute must that you have scor tape or your book will fall apart. 

I sell it at my store if you do not already own this fabulous product!

 If you own a Crop-a-dile please bring it... if not, I will have one available in class.

Cost:

Cost for the book class is $25

If you prepay to hold your spots its only $22.

If you cannot make the class but would like a take home kit, please let me know before classes start.

April / May Card Class 2014

In this class we will be stamping 5 cards & envelopes.

We will also be using various dies too, the one above doesnt cut out the whole butterfly... just the wings

so they can be popped up.

This card uses the Glossy Accents to look like real rain drops.

Supplies Needed:

Adhesive runner, pop dots, paper snip scissors (smaller is better), glue pen, and paper piercer.

Copics we will be using are:

E00, E25, E33, B12, B32, B34, RV13, Y13, Y35, YG03, YG67

If you have them and dont want to wait, bring them with you.

Kits of the week #2

Easter is almost here, get your photos taken for 2 new Easter kits!

Both sets of pages are 12 x 12 and will be all cut, bagged, and ready to be assembled.

You can pre-order both kits for $15.00, or 1 set for $7.99.

If you want any of the sets please let me know by April 12th.

I should have them cut and ready for pick-up by April 19th.

Pages will be on display at the store if you need a closer look.

Kit of the week

12 x 12 Scrapbook Page Class

This workshop will be a bit different than the usual classes.

This will be a "work at your own pace" type of class.

We will be working in the crop room so each table will be set up for a different page.

You will be making (3) 2 page layouts for a total of 6 pages.
Everything will be pre-cut and ready to be assembled.

There are 4 layouts to choose from, you can pick 3.

The ones below are very similar... one is for dogs, the other is for cats.

Thursday, April 17th @ 5:30 pm.
* If you cant make the class date you can sign up for take-home kits*

Supplies to bring:

March Card Class (2014)

In the March class we will be making 4 cards and a 3-D item to match one of the cards.

This card is a get well card, I found these cute new bear stamps that I love.  We will be using a paw print border punch for the bear paws. Most people just think dog or cat when they see this punch.

This is a box we will construct that holds the travel size tissues.  

It goes with the card above for a cute gift set.

(Bring a pen & paper if you want to re-write the measurements.)

  The butterfly card uses some new die cuts that recently came out.

If you've been to class lately, then you know I love dies that we use the negative cut instead of the positive.

We are not gluing the black hearts, so don't worry! 

Square pop dots will work better for popping up the Thank You die cuts.  You can cut them down skinnier than the round ones.

The alien card is a spinner, its a 3-D interactive card.  

I even figured out how to post a video of how it moves below.

These are the supplies you need:

adhesive runner, glue pen, pop-dots, a few small flat glue dots,

2 pennies, scor tape, and small paper snip scissors.

I sell these items at the shop if you dont have them.

February Card Class (2014)

In February's card class we will be making 5 cards with envelopes.

There will be Thinking of You, Birthday (girl), Birthday (guy), Sympathy, and Thank You.

We will be using metal dies, stamps with matching dies, Copic markers, Washi tape, brads, ribbon, and other embellishments.

Supplies you will need to bring:
adhesive runner, 2 way glue pen, pop dots, and scissors.
Copics we will be using are:
100 black, BG72, BG75, E25, E31, E33, E34, R46, RV14, RV29, RV32, T0, T3, T6
**** I highly recommend that you bring 100 black if you have it!!!

Cost is $17.00, if you pre-pay to hold your spot it is $15.00
*** due to a large amount of no-shows I would really appreciate if you pre-paid within 1 week prior to your class date to hold your spot.

Valentines

Valentine's day will be here soon so I have been stocking up on stamps and dies for Valentine cards.

Hearts dont have to be used only for Valentine's Day though.  As you can see in the card above, I used it to make a thank you.
